No, as sad as my answer to your question is, the english rom version for heartgold/soulsilver has only been released recently. People all over have the same issue(so do I), the black screen cannot be fixed at the moment. BUT if you were to play with those pc emulators(no$gba, I don't like to use those for pokemon), you can fix it through adjusting a few minor codes. However to summarize it up, you'll have to wait a while until someone PERFECTS the rom, which will bound to happen due to numerous complains. As for me, I still play it, however I will have to save the game like every 10 minutes and/or after every 2 trainer battles.
