2meg seems large. My 1600x1200 jpgs are almost never over 600k. Perhaps its just the size, so far as Walmart is concerned. The other issue is beyond my knowledge.
Size should not be a problem. I take 3-5MB files to Sam's frequently.
Be sure your disk is finalized though. Check your CD writer docs and be sure to choose the right option.
